At first this wine needed to open up quite a bit as it seemed very "earthy". Each sip kept getting better and dried flowers started coming through, raspberry jam, ripe black cherry and then even a few peppery notes on the finish. A lot of structure here from a #dolcetto. Quite an intriguing example of a super dolcetto from #diano d'alba compliments to @frattelliaimasso ! — 9 years ago
