Heart's Delight: Bordeaux Master Class

The Heart’s Delight Wine Tasting and Auction taking place this week in Washington, D.C., is a four-day celebration of food and drink with opportunities to meet and dine with master winemakers and celebrity chefs. In the past 18 years, the event has raised more than $16.5 million for the American Heart Association. Saturday begins with a virtual tour of Bordeaux, including a unique wine tasting of the 2015 vintage led by Dave McIntyre of The Washington Post. Guests will be guided through five flights of wine that feature 2015 vintage and an older vintage of the winemaker’s choosing. Château owners and directors will also be on hand to discuss their wines. Such esteemed Bordeaux estates will include Château Haut-Bailly, Château Cos d’Estournel, Château Kirwan, Domaine de Chevalier and several other names of note.
