Pale lemon in color with a green hue.
A nice Riesling nose of diesel, lemons, apples, minerals, white pepper, sea salt and citrus.
Full bodied, creamy and bold, with medium plus acidity.
Off Dry on the palate with lemons, citrus, green herbs, sea salt, grapefruits, minerals, wet rocks, bitter herbs, cream, slate and white pepper.
Medium plus in finish with tangy limes.
This Mosel Riesling is nice enough to drink by itself. Well balanced with nice complexity.
I had it a year ago, and I wasn't too impressed with it. Apparently, an additional year in the bottle got it to a better place.
A good food wine as well, and will pair nicely with spicy Indian or Asian dishes.
I paired it with a tomato Bruschetta with a sweet vinaigrette dressing.
9.5% alcohol by volume.
