Dark, intensely concentrated, blackberry plum and crushed wildflowers on the nose, Italian bitterness, tannins, slightly heavy oak component but this wine handles it, finish is a bit alcoholic. This is one the best if not the best Schiavas I have had in terms of balance, texture, weight, and fruit vs herbal. This is just a really enjoyable wine, kinda Glou-Glou like. Great example. — 4 months ago
