Juicy nose, apricot, but a bit quiet now. Huge power, depth and concentration, grippy and dense, tremendous, higher sugar and high extract, dense, huge acid, love the structure, energetic for days. So so good. Just spectacular. Needs age. But this is as special as it gets. — 8 months ago

That’s actually the previous spater veit in the glass and this wine is much darker. What a wine. Dark berries, dark blackberry, mint, mineral, tree bark, so complex and deep. Wow this is sick. So much black cherry. Genius. Earthy. Truffley. Has some masserata in it. Some weird freak grape. Wow what a palate. Silken, sexy and lush. Lovely blackberry and purple fruits. Like a wine jelly donut filling. Stunning freshness and depth and focused like a laser. Insane linearity. Lovely sweetness. This is incredible. What a revelation. Nose is developing wild mint now. Just a gorgeous wine. So complex, complete and unique! Wow wow wow.

Showing so well. Insane spices on the nose that takes you to Morey or Vosne. Gorgeous slate and herbals and wow what insane levels of deep cherries. Gorgeous and in the zone. Palate is juicy and elegant with lively sour cherry and mid season cherry and delightful finesse and complexity. Long finish and lovely palate staining. Really just glorious wine. As this aired it gained some opulence in the mid palate and lovely inner mouth spice aromas. — 6 months ago

Gorgeous nose of mid season cherries, spice, delicate wood, slate, and even saltiness. Palate is super deep and has some citrus notes, dense cherry fruit, layered and fresh, From Falkenberg, Grosser Hergott and Grafenberg. Terrific freshness and purity. Love the wood spice on the nose mixed with xmas spice and citrus. Salty finish and awesome ripe tannins. Big Pinot that has great aging potential. Such an awesome wine. — 8 months ago

Nose is slate. Citrus flower. White flowers. Quite lovely. Scratch that. Fucking beautiful.

Palate is mineral. Citrus. Crunchy. Minerals made from citrus.

Elite levels of typicity. If I could create a mosel trocken from scratch this is what it would be. You can literally smell mosel slate on this. I love this wine.

Huge nose. Violets, spice, deep ripe cherry fruit that is super enveloping and so aromatically charming. Some wood but old Freres and Taransaud. Slate and just such deep aromas. 3 years and older. Huge fruit here. Saturates like nothing else and big deep mid to late season cherries and such freshness and finishes classically dry with dusty tannins and unusually good length for an intro Pinot. So impressed. Huge concentration and such a delicious gulp of Pinot. — 8 months ago
