Lemonade-like acidity. Minerally. Tropical without sweetness. Makes you feel like you are on an Atlantic island. — 4 months ago
Blackberry, Big League Chew, cured meat, smoke. Dark fruits on the palate with some meaty, spicy notes on the mid palate that reminds me of chorizo. Medium acidity and medium, dusty tannins. Good stuff. — 8 months ago
Light footed and quite light bodied, yet with nice tension, beautifully integrated tannins and a juicy flow.
Dark fruit (black cherries, mulberries) and turned earth with a hint of tar and leather but also with a floral whiff adding freshness & lightness.
Juicy, with a certain effortlessness yet with quite some depth and a dark, rocky mineral core.
Somewhere between a good Morgon and a Baga - this is delish! And with just 13% alc, dangerously gluggable. — 3 months ago
Produced from the "mosto flor" ("free-run juice") of sustainably grown and hand-harvested grapes. Ya means "yes!" in Spain. Straw yellow with good flow of tiny bubbles and light mousse. Stone fruit aromas with a vanilla nut fragrance. On the palate peach and citrus flavors, good balance, plenty of acidity and lingers nicely. — 8 months ago
Beautiful cherry vanilla aroma but a drier, savory, mineral-forward flavor. Reminded me a lot of a cru Beaujolais like Morgon. — 3 months ago
Ribera tipicity, with blackberries, cranberries, a hint of cream, caramel, French oak. Medium bodied, good acid, well integrated oak. Easy. — 3 months ago

Sipping Fine Wine
A nice Mencia from Bierzo, Ruby red color, purple hues, with aromas of juicy red fruits, spice and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, tart strawberry and cranberry, with spice and gentle oak notes, very Rhône-like. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy character. Nice! — a month ago
