I discovered this winery in California last week. I love it!! This is Twisted Oak. 2014 Petite Sirah. You must visit the web site or even better the winery itself!!!!!! Located in Vallecito California. Www.twistedoak.com This is fun fun fun. I love these people! The color is dark. The legs are sexy! The bouquet is greatfruit and grape jelly. The initial palate is tart but in a good way. The body is light. The palate begins with raspberry and cherries but tangy with a zing not found in a pinot noir. The finish is quick and slightly dry leaving a tart finish on the tip of the tongue. In one year this wine will rock, although it rolls pretty good right now. — 7 years ago
