I’m not overly familiar with Malbec but this tastes pretty good. Has the Rudderless earthy/bushy/herbal flavours as in the Grenache (Sellicks hill location, picks up the nice sea breeze and has a great view as I enjoyed from Doug Govern’s Victory Hotel). Nice spread and lovely tannin with a plusher fruit profile than the Grenache. Cracked it and drank straight away late afternoon. — 4 years ago
Closing the night during the fifth set of Sinner victory at the Melbourne Tennis Open
No need to wait, tannin is solved
Great concentration in the glass
Not heavy though

Great sparkling wine to celebrate a Biden and Harris victory — 4 years ago
This Pa brewery is rocking my world. Close my eyes and taste this, and I drift back to my time when I lived in Waterloo, Brussels. Label says 9.5% abv, but it’s tucked in nicely. Woody notes on the palate, with cardamom, cloves and licorice. Heart-warming as it slips down the hatch. Well done! — 5 years ago
Inauguration wine to celebrate. Last bottle drank in 2016. Wow cherry still powerful nose slightly candied. Cherry/red fruit plum in a big mouthful/mid palate with tobacco/cloves and smooth tannins. Last long time. Only 1 bottle. Save for Biden re-election victory... — 4 years ago
Brought this to the restaurant with us to celebrate the most recent Bills’ victory. As always, a truly amazing wine. — 5 years ago

Leftover beef short ribs, mashed potatoes, asparagus, butter roasted radishes, and beet salad. Topped off with a 2006 Wellington Victory. I know it’s Tuesday, but why not treat ourselves? — 8 months ago
