Toro: one of the oldest and strongest expressions of Tempranillo is tamed by the House of Vega Sicilia. Pintia preserves the rustic and robust nature of the DO in an elegant way. Aromas and flavors of dark fruit, violets, dark chocolate, coffee and spice. Full bodied, high alcohol and fine grain tannins with a strong finish are sure to entice. — 2 months ago
Deep Ruby, aromas of sweet red and black fruits with pepper spice and oak. 4 grape blend from some of CVNE's best vineyards in the Rioja Alta (85% Tempranillo, rest Garnacha, Mazuelo & Graciano), aged in both French and American oak for 24 months. On the palate flavors of blackberry and currants with licorice, vanilla, tobacco & toasty oak tones. Soft full ripe tannins, wonderful balance, lively acidity on a long finish ending with an earthy mineral character. Very nice! — a month ago

Blend of Tempranillo (85%), Graciano (10%) and Mazuelo (5%) that has hit its peak. Medium ruby color. Complex aromas of ripe red and black fruit, leather and a bevy of spices. Black cherry and tobacco flavors with nice notes of vanilla and black pepper. Just a hint of balsamic vinegar on the long and lingering finish. Velvety tannins. Medium-plus body and excellent balance. Outstanding quality for the price. — 20 days ago
It is always great to revisit a classic. This is one of the best representations of Rivera del Duero as a whole, composed of fruit from select parcels and vineyards from the DO; it always exudes opulence, the body is full, the tannins are grippy and the finish lingers. — 2 months ago
Great, rich and beautiful. Bought through JAL Mall for ¥9.130. — a month ago

While I think it has the potential to be a memorable wine, right now it seemed a bit disjointed. — 10 days ago
