Blend of 65% Zinfandel, 26% Petite Sirah, 5% Syrah & 4% Alicante Bouschet. Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits, oak, spice and floral scents. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with pepper, cacao, spice and smoky oak. Well balanced, fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, smoke and spice. Will age. — 10 days ago

Beautiful label with original artwork. Aged well. Color is still very dark. Smells meaty. Floral too. Hints of violets. Berry melange. Flavors are dense and very tannic. Fairly complex and very chewy. Clean and clear with the lovely flavors. Plenty of savory and licorice-y stuff. This is Petite at its best and it’s still going strong 14 years on. — 3 months ago
Honeycrisp apple, melon. Stunningly delicious and one of the best whites I’ve had. — 2 months ago

Love to target those “bad” vintages the critics dog on, in reality it forces winemakers to make an old school style wine that hold up over time! This was still fresh, with plum, cassis, leather, spice, soft tannins with great acidity on the finish — 3 days ago
