2/2021. Dark purple and big flavor that is nice on the palate. Paired well with the rich halibut special at Hall’s Chophouse and with grilled short ribs at home. — 11 days ago
Brilliant straw-yellow. Musky citrus pith and succulent herb aromas, along with building floral and mineral accents. Juicy and open-knit, showing good depth and clarity to the ripe Meyer lemon, white peach and pear flavors. The herbal and floral notes repeat on a long, smooth, lively finish that shows no rough edges. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, February 2021)

Medium plus body. Nice balanced tone of cherries, oak, and tannins. Goes well with Italian food, or with steak, or alone. $28 bottle; will need to stock up — 11 days ago
Distiller notes It's hard to believe, but yes, this is a sherry oak cask rested vodka. And it tastes just like you'd expect it to. Rich Olorosso and very well made vodka combine remarkably well. This begins as Source One's excellent estate made oat vodka and is then rested for 20-30 days in wet Spanish Olorosso casks. It picks up a ridiculous amount of color and flavor in that time and the rich texture of the vodka carries it perfectly. — 4 days ago

Beginning of the week and tonight's wine is the 2018 Trefethen Oak Knoll District Cabernet Franc.
On the nose there is sweet strawberry, raspberry, red plum, red currant, mint, green bell pepper, rose petal and graphite.
On the palate I get notes of strawberry, raspberry, red plum, green bell pepper, vegetal, spicy notesand earth.
This wine is medium + to full bodied with medium + to high acidity and medium + refined firm tannins that leads to a long red fruit vegetal finish. This wine will need time to really find itself. If you a willing to wait this will become something special. Have a great week. Please be safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 3 days ago
