Such a killer Pettirosso. Nose is ethereal. Just stunning. Roses, tar, deep mid season cherry. Gorgeous minerality. Earth, mint and so much more. Palate is so elegant, really no one does elegant with nebbiolo like Arpepe. Sour and sweet mid season cherries, lovely bracing and framing acidity and such purity and length. Man this is a cherry bomb. Awesome wine but it screams for food. Someone send me an ossobucco. Stat! More with air as this wine need air. With air it gets more harmonious in the mouth but the tannins pick up. — a year ago
Bright ruby red color with a moderate transparency. The nose reveals fresh and fruity aromas of berries with very clean and pleasing aromas that starts with hints of cherry, currant and strawberry followed by scents of rose and violet. In the mouth the taste is fresh and dry, denoting a wine with a light but interesting body. — 2 months ago

Nerello Mascalese pressed as a white wine.
Lemon, apple juice, white flowers, tons of acid and minerality. A bit gravelly.
Aged 8 months on lees in a steel tank, adding a bit of weight to this super refreshing wine. Delicious with summer salads, soft cheese, and on its own.

One of the few rose wines I adore. 100% Nebbiolo from Valtellina. Nose is light but vivid cherry and some tobacco and tar. Gorgeous clarity. So much energy and precision and so so juicy. What a wine. Amazing length. Now after air the fruit is sweeter and the nose is so floral. This is elite. 9.3 to 9.4 — 2 months ago
