Loved this! Drank it at a wine bar in Innsbruck with Andrew (Kym, Helen, and Tamara joined us). Nose was slightly musty but it had the most beautiful hint of sweetness. Absolutely delicious. — 8 years ago
A basic cab from our birth year that is far and away in better shape than expected. Moderately intense aromas of chocolate, blackcurrant, slight fig and browned Apple (oxidation) with tertiary notes of Tamara, sweet tobacco. It spoke quickly, and tired quickly. On the palate a bit lean-and-mean, with harsh tannins and excess acid- nothing a little Mt Tam cheese couldn't correct for. A surprise treat. Thanks Rachel! — 9 years ago
