This was all part of our Sake Day 2025 experience. We only tasted 60ish sakes out of an estimated 450, so a small fraction of what was available. While I attempted to rinse the glass with water and stay hydrated it’s difficult to fairly rate in this environment and I use it solely as a time to try a wide variety and interact with the brands. Being told this is the wrong name… The large characters on the bottle are:

白露垂珠 (Hakuro Suishu)
純米吟醸 (Junmai Ginjo)

But the large brown characters on the left are 美山錦 (Miyama Nishiki), the rice variety. The neck label also says 美山錦 100%使用 — 100% Miyama Nishiki.

So this should be recorded as:

Hakuro Suishu Junmai Ginjo Miyama Nishiki

I have been told this is the wrong name… The app has labeled it “Hakuro Suishu Junmai Ginjo.” But the bottle itself gives us more specific information:

* Hakuro Suishu (白露垂珠) is the brand.
* Pink neck label says Dewa Sansan (出羽燦々) 100%.
* Your boxed bottle says Junmai Daiginjo (純米大吟醸).
* It also says 100% Haguro-grown Dewa Sansan.

And visually, the bottle in your old photo has the same distinctive pink Dewa Sansan neck label and same Hakuro Suishu label design.

So I would record what you had as Hakuro Suishu Junmai Daiginjo Dewa Sansan 39.
