From 80 year old Blaufrankisch vines in Austria. By the glass. Dusty red fruit aromas with touches of barnyard and pepper. Just medium bodied with with spicy red fruit on the palate and medium minus dry Tannins. A glass went well with Confit of Duck at Spring Restaurant in London where the chef is Australia’s Skye Gyngell. Highly recommended if you are near Somerset House near the Strand London. — 5 years ago

From 80 year old Blaufrankisch vines in Austria. Dusty red fruits with pepper and a touch of barnyard. Just medium bodied with spicy red fruit notes and medium minus dry Tannins. A glass went well with Duck Confit at Spring Restaurant.

Delectable has done this before where the note stays on submitting for ages and then disappears. I then write the note all over again and then 3 notes pop up. 😟😟

This was delicious. But, I’m a forever fan of Blaufränkisch. Very pleased to see my Dad give a 9.2 to a “natural” wine and one of the most (currently) talked about natural wine producers in Austria!! ;)
