Released 3/24, the ‘22 North Slope Pinot is a clear cherry color with a vibrant nose of raspberry. It’s smooth and elegant with red fruit notes galore, a nice structuring acidity and a hint of smoke on the finish. One of the better North Slopes in recent memory. — 8 months ago
From steep sloping Hidden Ridge Vineyard. Mostly Cabernet with Petite Verdot (2.5%) blended in. Dark ruby color. Aromas of dark bramble berry fruit with hints of coffee, lavender and sweet spices. The expressive palate is full of black berry/plum and blueberry fruit with additional notes of tobacco, black tea, and dark coffee. Pleasant sweet spicy/oaky and very long finish. Dense, complex, rich and extremely well balanced. Part of the North Shore House (Paired with a fig dessert) Wine Pairing Dinner on March 9, 2024. — 10 months ago
8000th wine on here and it’s a doozy! Beautiful raspberry and blueberry fruit, exotic barrel notes, integrated perfectly. White pepper. Stems. Umami. Super exotic. Top notch barrels. Lighter than expected. Best domestic syrah ever? Kinda… thanks for tuning in! 8000 now and more to go. Maybe not Hahahha — 3 months ago
Really good Syrah. Wahluke slope always delivers. With some air this wine opened up beautifully. — 8 months ago
This was opened a few days back the 2013 Tamarack Cellars Wahluke Slope Cabernet Franc from Walla Walla, Washington.
On the nose is black cherry, blackberry, red plum, green bell pepper, herbaceous and wet gravel.
On the palate is raspberries, strawberry, red plum, black currant, green bell pepper, milk chocolate, fall leaves and crushed gravel.
This wine is medium to full bodied with medium + acidity and medium + firm grippy tannins that gives you a long red fruit crushed gravel finish. This weekend try and do something special with a friend or loved one. Enjoy some wine and some good food and stay healthy and safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — a year ago
Pretty tasty cab. — 4 months ago
Columbia Valley, 413 cases produced. Aging is about right, flavors of cola and spearmint with a mildly tannic finish, alongside some blackberry, raspberry and cherry. 30% new French oak is apparent in nose and mouth and just in balance, with decent acid and just a lingering aftertaste of white pepper. Grapes from Wallula and Dineen Vineyards, 51/49 split. — 7 months ago
Sweet herbs, tobacco and black olive give way to mentholated blackberry as the 2022 Primitivo Porcospino opens in the glass. Creamy and round, with balancing acidity and depths of ripe dark fruit, the 2022 finishes long and pleasantly chewy with a bitter twang and tart wild berry thrust. $25.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous March 2024) — 10 months ago

Lovely dark gold color. Butter, camomile, and many other components in a very complex nose. Rich and complex on the palate that is definitely high quality. Long finish. Love this wine! — 15 days ago
