Natural Zinfandel recommended when I asked for something not as tart. Slightly mushroomy / peppery finish, very enjoyable. Purchased from Gemini Bottle Co — 6 years ago

Incredible wine from the slopes of Mnt Edna where they discovered an old abandoned vineyard from pre-phylloxera times planted back in the late eighteen hundreds. Mostly from the Nerrello Mascalese grape. The wines is super focussed and bright, zooming into elegant layers of vibrant red and dark fruits all supported by subtle fine grained tannins and mineral undernotes. Classic old world style wine with endless depth and nuanced complexity. Just a complete, perfect wine …. For me 😁 — a year ago

Cherry, raspberry, currant, cranberry, rhubarb, vanilla and oak. Light-bodied and aoft tannins. — 6 years ago
I will say to me this does not have a pleasant nose. So fair warning. However, getting past it you will be rewarded. I can't say I have had a bunch of these but this one to me reminded me of a smooth, spicy Pinot. Acid was in check. Black fruits and touches of tobacco mix well. This drinks very easily so be careful to slow down and enjoy the wine. — 9 years ago
