Nice enough as a wine, but can’t say that it has either the green pepper or the somewhat “purple”ish qualities of cab franc that I’ve come to expect from the Loire and Napa, respectively. Maybe too old? This was a gift and so not sure what the storage conditions were, slightly stewed. Still nice pairing with chicken thighs with olives and feta. — 3 months ago

Alive but on the back side of peak so I would drink it if you got it. I don’t believe Produttori made any single vineyard wines this year, so not shocked with the fruit quality with as much as it has still lots of roses black cherry and tarry leather coming on the nose. — 3 years ago
