Very interesting #merlot from #stellenbosch #southafrica i didn’t particularly like it the first time I tasted it with Coravin, but today I opened it with a stew with red peppers and it was heaven. Highly recommendable with stews and game. — 4 years ago

Unbelievable wine from South Africa that is now 17 years old. Massive bouquet, dark fruit that has a real old world feel to it. Waves of earth and lingering smoke from a campfire fill the nose. This is a gorgeous supple wine that is just amazing.....the finish is long and luxurious. Soooo Happy this survived 3 continents, 10,000 miles of travel and all the cellar moves.... — 6 years ago
