Bodegas Emilio Moro

España Tempranillo 2020

Deep Ruby color with aromas of dark fruits, flinty spice, floral and oak notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum with notes of espresso, cacao and licorice wrapped in oak. Firm tannins, great old world balance with acidity, full body, long finish ends with fruit, oak, spice, and earthy mineral character. — a month ago

Earthy aroma, plum flavor, medium body. Nice on its own or with a meat and rice dish. — 4 months ago

Emilio Bulfon

Venezie IGT Piculìt-Neri

The 2019 Emilio Bulfon Piculit Neri has aged beautifully in five years.

Initial fruity scents blend smoothly with hints of dried fruits, leather, and a touch of smoky undertones and with a peppery & vanilla taste.
Makes an ideal companion for dishes like game meats, aged cheeses, or hearty red meat meals that are common in the Friuli region.

A must-try if you like medium-bodied reds and have the opportunity to find it.

Tinto Fino Crianza 2019

Dark ruby color. no fruit on the nose, only herbal and earthy notes. Palate is the same. Very robust but not overwhelming. Medium high tannins. Would absolutely buy again. Enjoyed on date night before seeing Bill Burr. — 7 months ago

Ribera del Duero Tempranillo 2019

Tasty but pricey ($35, on sale for $30). Nose is dark fruit, black cherry, Raisin. Lots of cocoa, tobacco, and leather. Full bodied, very tannic, dry with slight balancing acidity to keep it drinkable. Great with food and pleasant on its own if you like beefy oaky wine. — 6 months ago
