I know a few of you know about the Cape Winemakers Guild. If not I highly recommend trying to hunt them down or make it out to SA for it.
Deep garnet ruby red. A bit stinky on the nose with savory, meaty, and gamey notes. A touch smoky too with a touch of sweet spices and red berries undertone. Heavy tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Dark fruit on the attack with solid stoney notes. Some sweet spices too and more red fruits coming through. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2027. — 7 years ago

Yum! Drank this on the recommendation of our Safari Camp Manager, Brett and it was incredible. Big, bold, fruity wine that held up really well to the local peppered venison (aka - Kudu) — 9 years ago

Ripe berries. Smooth blend. Nice with lasagne. Definitely worth buying more — 7 years ago
More like dessert wine than straw wine. Really tasty, hard to limit the amount I drank! — 8 years ago
Best wine I have ordered in SA so at. Fruity yet complex with a long delicious finish with a bit of spice — 9 years ago
