Hem, a beautifully clear Chardonnay where you can see the fireplace flicker through your glass. It tastes good to! Oops, distracted! — 8 years ago

Really nice. My second S&H wine. Liked this Mindego Risdge better. Used to be my mountain biking haunt when I lived in Palo Alto. — 2 years ago

One of the best dry rosé wines being made outside of France! Delicate yet focused and pure. Looking forward to following the project for years to come!

Bates Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

This is a really distinctive Cabernet made from grapes sourced from Bates Ranch, located in the Santa Cruz mountains at 2000 feet elevation. Medium garnet color, dark fruit profile hanging on a backbone of good tannins and acidity. It is young and would benefit from 3-5 more years in the cellar. Pomegranate, dark chocolate, Fairly austere. Savory finish. Cheers! — a year ago

Drappier

Grande Sendrée Brut Champagne 2006

The Drappier Brut Grande Sendrée is a refined blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay. The house prides itself on minimal use of sulfur and low dosage—the 2006 is voluptuous with layers of dust, walnut shells, and mahogany wood that serve to hem in fleshy, ripe orchard fruits and citrus notes. On the palate, the mousse is super fine, merging with bright acidity and wet dough on the back palate. This is a Champagne that I would like to revisit in a decade or more, certainly I am keen to watch its development. — 8 years ago

Great notes Christine! TY.
I love this producer and they do mature beautifully. Recently popped my last bottle of their '96 Grande Sendree and realize a case is not enough to see it really shine.
