2020 vintage. Checked multiple (4) Trader Joe’s locations to see if there was any more of the verry solid 2019 vintage left anywhere. No luck. Took the plunge on the new vintage. Still worth the ca$hi$h. Lots of prettier fruits and medium body. Not as much structure as the 2019 but that dropoff was expected. Won’t drink as much of the 2020 as I did the 2019 but for $14.99, it’s still a relative bargain. Will hit again. 4.8.24. — 16 days ago

While their lower end wines, still quite good, are available in stores, the top-shelf TdO wines must be purchased directly from the winery, While a bit jammy for a cocktail wine, this is a great accompaniment for spicy foods. We enjoyed it with spicy Cajun chicken sausage dirty rice. The acidity cut the oils nicely, and the jammy residual sugars balanced out the spice quite well. This is your archetypal Amador Zin, with lots of blackberry and currant flavors. It’s usually better than the flagship Home Vineyard product! — 4 months ago
