2003. Solid fill. Excellent cork. Decanted and throwing a sh*t-ton of sed. Big (but desirable) funk on the initial decant nose. Tasted after 1.5 hours and 2.5 hours open. Light medium/medium body. Dirty animal. A little brett but unusual, and fleeting, richness in the upper front gums with a touch of mint and watercress waving hello. Then, it rapidly got down to brass tacks. Dried earth, porcini mushroom and cassis. Likely another 4-5 years in this realm before switching things up. — a month ago
‘18 .. still young . At pop , came across tight .. but then opened up beautifully . Delicate yet structured . Amazing wine — 4 days ago
Big wine. Very ripe red and black fruit, but of minerality. Very expressive. Very easy drinking. Tannins have softened nicely but still give a grippy mouthfeel which leads to a long finish. — a month ago

Year in, year out, this wine is a model of consistency.. just needs a few more years to further congeal. Nice balance and strong finish on the mid palate. Exceptional with my favorite pizza 👊🏾 — 20 days ago
