Cherry, raspberry preserves, blackberry, currant, vanilla, dark chocolate and oak. Full-bodied and moderate tannins. — 13 days ago
Exceptional Sauvignon Blanc! Layers upon layers of nuances for the nose and palate! I am getting white fruits, tropical fruits, white flowers, gripping acidity, honeycomb, and minerals! Mid palate has a wonderful creaminess then leads into a 45 sec+ finish. With this description.. not
even beginning to dig deep (to tired)! I really enjoy wines from Alexander Valley!

Super well balanced. A tiny bit of tang, with some fruit mid notes, and a rustic taste, almost. Perfect level of sweetness. Would buy again! :) — 2 days ago
Fabulous vintage especially for its price. Berry notes, sweet but not overpowering. Opens up beautifully with a smooth finish. Paired it with a spicy pasta. Went back to buy the rest of the 2012 bottles. — 13 days ago
Had this last week and forgot to post, Big wine for $40.00😳 this will go another 20 years easy Notes from the winery, - -Focusing first on the cabernet fruit from four mineral-rich, volcanic soil sites nestled on cooler hillside slopes in the Alexander Valley, this vintage’s blend is uniquely crafted with delicate inclusions of merlot, malbec, and petit verdot.
Available in 750ml and 1.5L magnum formats
“Opaque ruby purple in the glass, it has an incredible perfume loaded with oral nuances, its cassis and boysenberry fruit tempered by a mineral streak and accented by notes of dried thyme, fresh tobacco leaves, mint chocolate, clover and bay leaves. The palate is stunning, powerful but silky and fresh, lushly fruited and nuanced and finishing very long. While this 2018 is approachable and utterly delicious now, it will reward cellaring and should be very long lived.” 97 pts – Erin Brooks, Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate

This was so good...i was absolutely fooled..blueberry, blackberry, super uber plush, with anise, wintergreen, loads of chocolate, oak and alcohol. I thought it was merlot..was blown away, super fun and tasty just a touch too boozy for me... — 24 days ago

I had higher hopes for this guy. Mostly because of my respect for Cruse. All things considered I preferred this years Valdiguie Nouveau.
This is mineral laden with salts and cinnamon and black cherries. Could use more harmony and symphony. — 13 days ago
