Presqu'ile Vineyard Pinot Noir

I’m not usually one for California Pinots, but this one is top notch. A lot of things I like out of Oregon wines with plenty of earth and body to boot — 7 days ago

Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir

First notes are sweet, then turn a little acidic. Good for one glass after work. — 2 months ago

Les Vins Breban

l'Opale de la Presqu'ile de Saint-Tropez Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend 2015

The kind of dry but still interesting rose that comes in a bucket with five more bottles of the same on a beach in the south of France. I’m a fan. — 3 months ago

Maîtres Vignerons de la Presqu'ile de Saint-Tropez

You’re almost at 2,000 bottles. Got any plans for the big day, 3liter at least maybe even a 6liter?

Presqu'ile Winery

Santa Barbara County Chardonnay

The story of @presquilewine begins on the border of Arkansas and Louisiana, where Matt Murphy grew up working harvests on his family’s corn, soy, and rice farm. His appreciation for life led him to study molecular biology, but he kept finding himself being called out of the lab and back to the land. 🌊🏔

Matt found his home in California, but his links to the Gulf Coast were still strong. It was an unfortunate confluence of events that just when he and his family were looking to found their own winery, Hurricane Katrina tore asunder and reshaped some of the lands closest to their hearts. The little spit of land on the Mississippi Gulf Coast known as Presqu’Ile, which had been a special place for Murphy family gatherings, was wiped from the map.

In the aftermath of such transformative events, all we can do is remember the good times and immortalize them how we can. For the Millers, that took the form of putting the name of their special place on the front of each bottle. Every time someone flips it around to learn more about what they’re drinking, Presqu’Ile lives again. 🌅

Steiner Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir 2011

This is exceptional. Whole cluster. Such a unique terroir. Herbaceous and vegetal, dark red fruit, really intense and persistent, damp Forrest floor, meaty, tobacco, fuller bodied Pinot. Really something special. Optimal drinking now. — a month ago

Presqu'ile Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016

#prowein2019 — 3 months ago
