Delicious ripe strawberry, raspberry, dark cherry, vibrant acid, but a round and plush mouthfeel. Texturally a study in contrast. The slight bite of the acid plays very nicely against the rich palate. Exceptional decanted at 20-30 minutes — give it some time to breathe and wow. Great stuff from one of our favorite producers. — 3 months ago

Direct from Le Volpe e l’uva on the south end of the Ponte Vecchio in Firenza, this is what Italian wines are all about. A bit of a youngster for a barolo I grant you, but the dried cherries, spice, and subtle leather notes on this one, coupled with firm but well-integrated tannins, make this a great wine to enjoy on it’s own or with the porcini mushroom ravioli with homemade tomato sauce and aged parmesian that we’re about to have for dinner...well, you can’t go wrong! — 6 months ago

I really like this one. Low on tannins. Label says aromas of red berries, yes like jam. Tasting cherries. Really clings to the glass. Takes forever for legs — a month ago
