This shows some barnyard, horsey notes up front, likely Brett, but for more Brett-tolerant folks like me, it’s the lovely fresh redfruits underneath and crisp and lively acidity, together with the lingering finish, that make this a lovely CdP!! But I would note for those who are very Brett-intolerant, you may not care for it at all. — 2 months ago
Ample aroma, berries. Expecting a few years later. Pierre amiot 1er cru morey saint denis aux charmes 18 @2400, Fred - Eric T, 250520 — 5 months ago
Slightly deeper colour, with light lemon yellow core . Fine persistent perlage . Slightly more closed on the nose , with lemon oil , toasty roasted nuts , chalky hints. On the palate this is denser and more creamy , more toasty , with lemon hints and a chalky , limestone hint . Touch of bitterness with some saline hints . Good length . Nice now but will improve over the next few years , and last well a further 5 years or so . — 2 days ago

Deep nose of preserved and candied lemons with bread dough and toasted baguette. Chalky minerality and lively fine mousse. Crushed rocks, lemon peel, mint, white flowers, pear and tangerine oil all take shape. — 5 months ago
Light like a feather. Quite stinky on the nose. Drink now! 13.5%. Brown tinge. Touch oxidized. Subdued cherry, orange zest. Very fine grained tannins. A touch more fruit would be nice. At this point tastes like an old Burgh. Definitely drink up this will not further improve. Was fun with black cod prepared a la Nobu. Would i buy this again (No). This is in the end not one the producers in Burgundy which i would recommend (based on multiple bottles including GC’s over time). — 5 months ago
Used the Durand on the cork - soaked to the edge. Decanted for 2 hours.
This wine had some gaminess. Smooth. Fruit was a bit wild and overpowered by the savory flavors.
Paired well with the chicken skewers and onions. Needed complex flavors in the food to pair well.
Good but quite a bit below the Beaucastel — 4 days ago
Solid champagne producer vintage in, vintage out. This is an EB.
I did not pay $177, $89. — a month ago
Decanted for about 2-3 hours before serving. Incredible nose and flavor profile. Very gamey. Lots of stewed fruit. Little medicinal. But came through and paired exceedingly well with lamb kebabs.
Had a little funk as it aired out but really sang at hour 4-5. Good grip. Will be excited to open the next one — 4 months ago

Quite pale straw colour , fine bubbles . Quite fine and direct , chalky , wet limestone , elderflower , and lemon rind with a light toasty ,yeasty note . On the palate quite lean and direct , with lemon rind , chalky hint , sea breeze and some roasted nuts . High fresh acidity and just enough body to carry the linear palate mouthfeel . Oyster shell tinged finish. Drink now and over the next couple of years . December 2023 disgorgement , 2021 base . — 2 days ago
