The “King of Chardonnay” Mike Grgich farms w/o pesticides and certified organic. Aged 10 months, no MLF. Medium lemon color with aromas of stone & citrus fruits. On the palate flavors of apple, pear & lemon citrus flavors, with honeysuckle, vanilla & toasty oak notes. Nice balance with acidity on long finish with a toasty mineral ending. Not your typical CA Chard, very nice! — 2 months ago
Pleasant mixture of earth and fruit, subtle aromas and palate. — a month ago
First of all Kudos to Ant Hill love the wax seal over cork! Deep Ruby with aromas of dark Berry fruits with notes of herbs, citrus, floral and earthy spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry, tea, vanilla and herb tones, well balanced with acidity. Firm fine tannins on a long finish ending with fruit and floral herb character. Very nice! Will age well! — 4 months ago
Wow, super green fruit and prominent vegetal notes on the nose. Serious forest floor, almost like licorice or black olives. The palate is similar, silky, with ripe, sharp plums and red fruits, a nice acidity that is well integrated, not sharp, and similar block olive, moss, mushroom and vegetal notes you see in the finest burgundies, with some light florals dancing along a reasonably long finish. Definitely a finer wine than they’re given credit for. — 12 days ago
