Latham 4/15/17 all family. Floral notes and complexity in red to dark berries with palate more on fruit but still with notes of earth and forest. Hints of mint on long finish? Acker at $25. Opened another at MRs 4/22/17. End of evening and popular. — 8 years ago

Enjoyable, solid value Brunello Di Montalcino at €22 across Milan train station. Notes of cherry plum and blackberry fruits combine with a complex mixture of smokey vanilla undergrowth which imparts earthy leather undertones. Medium body. Decent 2hr min, as there are strong tannins (Also probably drinking this a few years young) for a 2014 in 2020. — 5 years ago

Bought at Richmond Wine Station, $27, 2/22/20 to have with chocolate truffles. Went perfectly, and would also go well with food. Very rich in flavor with a smooth finish. — 5 years ago
