This is a great wine for apertivo or on a hot day. Golden in color, short finish, and good but not overwhelming acidity. Pear, citrus, green apple, and a little bit of honey.

Fabulous 100% Sagrantino. My first taste of this grape. Similar notes than one can get from sangiovese and nebbiolo. Already accessible and should improve with cellaring a few years. Really liked this new acquaintance. — 8 years ago
