2023 vintage. 60% Sémillon and 40% Sauvignon Blanc. Fieuzal is a personal favourite, and while I know the "grands vins" quite well, this is my first encounter with the second wine. Brilliant light golden colour. Seductive nose with fresh pineapple, white peach, grapefruit, and a hint of basil. In the mouth it confirms the synergy between the two grape varieties, a subtle interplay between exotic and citrus fruits, with impeccable purity, freshness and very nice length. Abv. 12,5%. Very good value too. — 8 months ago

2020 vintage. Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Petit Verdot (3%) and Cabernet Franc. A very good second wine, in a lighter style, but try to type for the appellation, and a great introduction to the grand vin. A skilful, harmonious blend with admirable purity and a soft mouthfeel. Good spicy length. Nice value. Abv. 13,5%. — 8 months ago
