Before we take a sip, we must embrace this bouquet! The bouquet was amazing. Full of blackberries, cedar and oak. On the palet, this full bodied wine is on the dryer side but paired well with a Tuscan pizza! I guess it comes down to what you eat it with?! The Italians are the wine experts but the Portuguese do a great job! — 9 days ago

This is in such an enjoyable spot at the moment, full of dried fruits and tertiary notes, this is medium bodied, fine and resolved tannin, with med+ aroma and flavor intensity. Fruit that tastes partially dried but has some primary character, cassis, currants and black cherry mingle with mint and baking spice notes, subtle notes of oak weave seamlessly into the bouquet and palate. Fabulous bottling. Singular exemplar of what albariño can do at the highest level. Tightrope between grassy, herbaceous Sauvignon blanc opening & smoky Riesling finish. Reminds you why albariño was thought to be a Riesling clone. Zippy acid, lime, smoky apple fruit, fabulous texture and long penetrating finish. 200 y/o vines. 😍 — 7 days ago
