The Electric Pfalz Acid Test Chardonnay

A fabulous Tuesday night wine, particularly at this price point. This mixture of chard and Riesling works so well… and as others have said, the label alone should make you love this wine! Cheers! — 2 months ago

Grand Cru Brand Pinot Gris 2019

So clean and crisp. Some petrol notes. Boxler hasn’t missed yet. — 4 months ago

Pur Pfalz Pinot Blanc

Strong acidity, firm, like an underripe peach and/or mango, depending on the sip. — 4 months ago

A salted preserved pear swimming in a tropical fruit cocktail syrup with a sharp edge. Wow. — 8 months ago

Domaine Zind Humbrecht

Brand (Turckheim) Grand Cru Riesling 2015

Very enjoyable! With complexity but still easy to approach, has petroleum notes alternating with flowery and fruity. More on the ripe and even a tiny sweet side. — 2 months ago

Klein Constantia

Vin de Constance Natural Sweet Muscat à Petits Grains 2019

Great now and will age beautifully. Typical Muscat florals, but I love the balancing act of sugar concentration and acidity in this vintage. Elderflower and bruised stone fruit. Wonderfully fresh. 👌🏼 — 4 months ago

Pfalz Feinherb Riesling 2023

Delicate aromas of peach and apricot and Alpine flowers. Soft on the palate with balanced unripe peach tartness and a little honeysuckle sweetness. Danke, Deutschland! — 7 months ago

Delicious, very smooth (I had the 2024 ) rather than crispy — 3 months ago

Klein Constantia

Estate Red Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2013

We are staying in South Africa. Can you believe some of the oldest operating wineries are right there. Like Klein Constantia, founded in 1685. Yep, they made wine requested by Napoleon, praised by Dickens and Jane Austin so it says on the label. Unique, beautiful little spot right next to Cape Town where they grow the grapes and produce the wines. Want to experience a few more captivating wineries that produce exceptional wines in South Africa? Go to our website or YouTube channel for Spoken Wines. One of the outstanding wineries produces mesmerizing Bordeaux blends in ancient soils in the land called Paarl. Their roots go back to Napa and Opus One. Enjoy!
