Sauvignon from Alto Adige - an easy wine to like. Usually luscious, ripe, powerful, something to say. And so it goes again here...
I grabbed this guy from the clearance bin and only later realized I had visited the winery a few years ago, a big fancy glossy floored operation in the adorable town of Bolzano - the wine is humble and fits together in itself with sweet quirks and lots of umph.
Sticky grilled peaches garnished with cool mint and a Chartreusian blend of honeyed anise, dried orange peel, and peppery herbs. — 10 months ago

I don’t like Pinot Grigio. A wine shop I really trust recommended this bottle and now it’s changed my mind on how a Pinot Grigio can express itself. Granite/slate and lilies on the nose. Round mouth feel with just a bit of lemon acidity. Clean finish. Lovely! — 9 months ago

Wow. Sweet tart, chalky candy on nose. Tart fruit. Beautiful balanced acidity. — 5 years ago
Interesting Northern Italian white. Aromas of apples and apricot with a hint of white flowers. Red and Green apple flavors with hints of apricot and white peaches. Creamy finish. Medium minerality. Probably at its peak. — 5 years ago
