Pretty good for a 9 year New World wine. Has aged well — 6 months ago
Dark dried fruit, leathery, dry, pepper, lots of oak. Delicious. — 4 years ago
Powerful aromas, lush black fruit, subtle black olives,
Round but light on the palate, tart blackberry acidity tingles the tip of the tongue, minerally tannins (the "slate" wine from soil class in March 2022) — 23 days ago
Lovely mushroom emerges within a lovely and gracefully aged malbec showing appropriate raisination. Tulip, violet, hibiscus and rosemary-beef; bllackberry and cocoa, cracked pepper. Dense coloration just brimming on brick. Concentrated plum and cinnamon collide with tobacco, cedar and savory as well as slightly sour cherry and roobios.

Never heard of Tempranillo Blanco. Is that a grape? Golden, straw colored. Smells like Albariño or a French Rhone type white. Honey, sweet baked goods, sage, carrot seeds and oak. Flavors are strange and unfamiliar. Crisp, zesty, with a streak of tart green apple. Some honey, but not sweet at all. Just a hint of that CA chard stuff with the oak flavors. But it’s not really like any white I can place. Most resembles Rhone white blends. It’s a fun wine to try, and it’s nice. Complex and just a bit funky. — 4 years ago
Gorgeous color, round tannins, lovely structure and finish. Winestone. — a month ago
Tempranillo Day — 4 months ago
The flavor profile is kind of like Cab Franc, with notes of dehydrated strawberry (like Special K red berries), mushroom, and a kiss of oak. Medium bodied. Wonderful acid, and still had some tannins. — 4 years ago

A (very) modern approach to Rioja… so modern it’s closer to Ribeira or Languedoc.
Rich & fruit forward, yet still retaining some elegance and juiciness (and containing alc levels).
Not bad, but not really brilliant either. — 9 days ago
