Smooth and balanced, tasty super Tuscan — 5 years ago
Smooth and complex. A long finish. Amazing for a Rosso di Montalcino. But you would expect that from Il Paradiso di Manfredi. Well worth the 34 Euros. — 7 years ago
Delicious nebbiolo w natural bent. Just a hint of funk to make it stand out. Accompanied dinner at Alto Paradiso perfectly — a year ago
I visited this boutique vineyard in Siena. The winemaker believes that playing classical music is beneficial to his vines. I also learned that the University of Pisa and Florence are conducting a scientific research on the effect of sound waves on vines. Music or not... decanted for 2 hours, this wine is magnificent! Leather, vanilla, dill, and cherry notes. Happy New Year friends. — 4 years ago
A lovely old school biodynamic Brunello, made out of Sangiovese Grosso, which are aged for 36-40 month. Bought and drunk in a wine bar in Florence, this one experienced an accelerated maturation. The huge wine cellar of this famous wine shop is simply too warm, approx 23-24 c (summer time), vs the ideal 14-15 c. The wine was still lovely, but with limited aging potential. The color was deep red, with a light touch of brown. Nose lightly oxidized, barnyard, black cherries, dry leaves, tobacco, leather, earthiness, plums, full body, firm well integrated tannins. Long finish. I wish It would had been more fresh... My score 90, drink this one now, a well stored one perhaps to 2025 — 5 years ago

Purchased at the winery. We did a group day trip tour from Rome to Tuscany. It was March, but the vineyard and its Bose speakers was still a fun attraction. 4.5 years later, having survived a move, among other things, we finally decided to pop it.
Nose: crushed rose petals, children’s cherry robitussin, bittersweet chocolate, forest floor after a campfire nearby.
Palette: raspberry & cherry, leather glove, velvety tannin that is pretty chill. Lighter body compared to other brunello, what sometimes is referred to as “elegance” honestly, kind of like Mozart (where other Brunellos can be like Wagner or something more modern) hehe.
Finish: menthol on the finish
