This is a really nice pop and pour Chianti Classico. Elegant nose, packed with layers of flavors of earth, fruit and spice and nice balance of juicy acidity and a moderate grip of tannins that linger on the front of the tongue for quite a while. — 13 days ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over four days and fairly consistent throughout. The 2020 Riserva pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and tart red fruit: raspberry, Morello cherry, red plum, black tea, red flowers, dried green herbs, and gravelly earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Drink now through 2035 easy. — 21 days ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes. Arianna’s 2022 “Il Frappato” pours a ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is youthful with notes of tart red fruits: strawberry, pomegranate, subtle Eastern spices and rocky earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. As usual, a fresh, elegant and serious expression of Frappato. Drink now through 2032. — 18 days ago
Deep red color. Earthy, violet and cherry aromas. Nice balance of fruit, Oak (cedar, vanilla, tobacco), tannins, sweetness, and acidity. Very nicely done.

Found it in a difficult spot. I sensed a sulphuric undertone which made me doubt if it was a flawed bottle. Next bottle will tell as the one I had 1,5 years ago was very good — 15 days ago
