Polished domestic Merlot. Very savory on the nose. Almost classic Bordeaux in style , green olive and olive tapenade. Oregano and thyme with just a hint of oak hut not overly in your face. Beautiful inky hue. Lots of great tannin and acidity on the backbone of this wine. Plenty of room to keep aging. Blackberries and blueberries upfront. Fantastic finish that lingers without feeling big heat. Very well balanced at 14.5% — 9 months ago
Lovely bright mid gold with a fleck of green. Nose fresh and lifted, clean as a whistle (no Kero) pithy citrus. The palate is alive. Gripping fine acid keeps you coming back to the glass. Not overly complex but beautifully balanced. This bottle still has time in its legs. — 7 months ago

This is the terrior label. I’d not seen it before but it is a ripping wine. Well worth getting at 2 for 40 at VC. — 3 years ago

This was incredible. All the complexities of great chardonnay are there - citrus, cream, mineral, brioche, roasted hazelnuts. Bready/mealy flavours are pronounced (malo) Perfect balance of fruit intensity and structure. For A$60 this is a steal! — 3 months ago
