Insanely weird and wonderful. Almost white port like notes. Sweet fruit and heavy viscous mouth feel . — 4 years ago

a smooth leathery georgian red. it is fresh peppery with the fruit barely present. the tannins and acid definitely overpower this wine, but with the right dish it would balance well. i may experiment with this one. — 10 months ago

Made with Saperavi, Georgia’s most widely planted red wine variety, from 45 years old ungrafted vines in the village of Khashmi, about 35km East of Tbilisi, in the Kakheti region. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in clay qvevri. Cherry, pomegranate, earthy notes on the nose. Full-bodied, tart red fruit, chewy tannins. Good acidity — 3 years ago

Wow. So different. Lots of brett in this one. As a celiac, I’ve can’t drink the Belgium beers anymore, but this wine has surely scratched that itch. This is a sort of sour, definitely tart wine. Really enjoyed this one. Would love to have again. — 8 months ago
