Well - to get in the middle of MA decent Dry Riesling is hard. The cashier thought it ought to be always sweet. This must have been on the shelf for some time as the 24 is out. Classic and dependable and DRY. One can buy this blind. Lemon peel, hint of Kerosene. And apricot back palate. Good amount of acid with just a hint of depth indicating what this large well known widely distributed producer could do with more complex flavored grapes. — a month ago
Chilled and opened about an hour before dinner and allowed to gently come to temp. Served alongside charcoal grilled Thai sausage, sticky rice, coconut Thai curry, herb salad, shallot, lime, garlic, chiles. Straw color, off-dry and a perfect pairing with the first course. Lychee, honey, white flowers and great acid. This is the kind of synergy you dream for in a wine pairing. Drink now but I expect this will drink well for a long time. Quite possibly the best experience I’ve ever had with Gewurztraminer. — 23 days ago
Great aromatics, just wanted a little bit more. — a month ago
Lovely notes of petrol, pear and very juicy compared to german rieslings — 2 days ago
Thought we had the last bottle a year ago but realized we had one more. Really very nice - a sort of time capsule wine, taking you back nearly two decades with the depth of amber color and honeyed flavor. So well balanced, with the secondary round fruit giving way to nice acids (more than I recall on the bottle a year ago). Fun one for sure. — a month ago
