Decent if slightly simple super Tuscan. Modern style. Graphite, blackberry, finocchiona. — a month ago
Dad brought back from Italy. Very good barolo. We drank it with Prossimo truffle mushroom pasta and pasta bolognese. Wonderfully pairing for both. No notes from dinner. — 2 months ago
Typical Barolo (and I love Barolos). Earthy, leather, tobacco, and strawberries. Fine tannins. Decanted for about five hours, popped the cork about two hours before that. Paired beautifully with lamb. — a month ago
Grape: Gropello; taste: violets, berries; feel: refreshing. Serve: chilled. Delicious. — a month ago
Delicious wine. Perfect to drink alone or pair with food. Nice gift from a friend from Total Wind — 2 months ago
Medium ruby , wide slightly garnet rim . Red cherry , raspberry , dried herbs, touch of liquorice . Very balanced an enticing on the nose . On the palate rounded sweet red fruits , red cherry and ripe raspberry , touch of rosewater and liquorice . Quite firm , fine but ripe tannins , nice balancing acidity . Decent length , though this can be drunk now , will improve over the next 5 years and last a further 5 or so. Not hugely complex but an entry level Barolo that delivers an enjoyable experience . — 2 months ago
Paired with a great pasta and some fine Irish seafood — 2 months ago
Threw a few of these in the cellar just to see what would happen. Finally coming into its own in Hour 2. Dark blue black fruits, nice acidity, balanced. Really nice. Great for Sunday pasta and red sauce. — 2 months ago

A pale Nebbiolo with red cherry, a bit of spice and oak aromas. Short red cherry finish with a bit of tartness. A good value Nebbiolo. — a day ago
