Fragrant floral and bread nose. Pineapple and stone on the palate. Hint of effervescence. — a day ago
An experience. Rounded oxidative nose, some copper, dried apricots, honey, botrytis, passito-like elements. On the palate it’s viscous, bone dry, mild acidity and a touch of angostura bitters — 6 days ago
Stunning! Wonderful varietal representation - Extremely mature and polished… Lovely silky opulent texture with rich tannins and luxurious acid. $20 on clearance at WF. Wow 93pt — 5 days ago
Velvet, crushed rose petals, blackberries, pine with frost upon it. What a rockstar bouquet.
Wow. Right up my alley. Well balanced. Fruit forward, sure, but the emphasis here is that undercurrent spice kick of star anise, black peppercorn, and nutmeg. All the right feels here. A brush of acidity, and just the right dryness to make you lick your lips. — 15 days ago
Wonderful 2017 Lis Neris Gris on the water in Florida with the very traditional Thanksgiving meal of grilled shrimp and scallops! Lovely straw color in the sun. Rich lemon and citrus on the nose. And similarly surprisingly complex in the mouth with lasting finish. And all this even though we had to drink it in plastic wine glasses because we are in an AirBnB! Happy Thanksgiving! — 4 days ago
Beautiful amber color. Straight out of Jurassic Park.
Candied ginger, citrus, roasted almonds, and mango chutney.
Oh man. This is a flavor bomb. Bursting of apricot and tropicana. Guava. That is the primary note. Feels like I’m eating a Romeo & Juliet at a Cuban hole in the wall in Miami.
That’s all I can taste now. Wonderful, goodbye. — 15 days ago
