Very, very smooth with subtle oak flavours — 4 years ago
Mid Ruby in colour. Initial aromas of red and black fruits particularly raspberry and also whole bunch notes. Rich and sweet on the palate with plums and cherries finishing with smooth tannins. Fruit for this Pinot was sourced from the Coal Valley, East Coast and Channel sub-regions of Tasmania - the latter adding that richness like you see in Home Hill Estate. — 6 years ago
Incredibly delicious wine - one of the best I’ve had in a while. Definitely one to purchase again (and again) — 8 years ago
Nice Tassy Riesling, great acidity. Aged nicely. — 9 years ago
Bought at Winery. Excellent — 10 years ago
Lean, really nicely made, no ups and downs. Good length. — 10 years ago
Very fine chardonnay. Very expensive toasted French oak on the nose which is integrated well with the fruit. Rich and chewy but lacking length and minerality which would have given it a higher score. — 6 months ago
Nutty, with some unripe white peach/green apple. Touch of malo balanced by healthy acidity. Burgundy-adjacent. — 5 years ago
Medium crimson in colour. Notes of savoury oak - a trifle overdone but not unpleasant. A blend of fruit from several of Tassies Pinot regions including Derwent River, Coal River and the East Coast. A well blended Pinot showing why Tasmania is the go to area for Aussie winemakers to grow Pinot Noir. — 9 years ago
We picked this up at the Farm Shed in Bicheno, where we also learnt the wonderful story of its preparation. The Boomer Creek Rosé offers a well-balanced expression of the style, standing out with its harmonious structure. Its freshness and depth make it a strong example of a quality east coast Tasmanian Rosé. — 2 years ago
Our final lunch in Cairns last Sunday for the boys weekend away. A wonderful lunch at the Salt House on the Cairns waterfront. No formal notes. Pepik is the 2nd label of Josef Chromy from the East coast of Tasmania. Red fruits on nose and palate with a little white pepper. A good match with the superb seafood curry. — 5 years ago
One wouldn’t think of Australia when looking for a fine Pinot noir. One also wouldn’t think it comes from one of the coldest environments for Pinot noir but Tasmania is far south off the coast of Australia. This tastes like it could come from New Zealand. Very distinct and very fine. — 8 years ago
Refined tannins, elegant structure, reminiscent of Santa Cruz mountains, very nice. Best Bordeaux blend we've had in Tassy. — 9 years ago
Just a telly consistent complex and well balanced Pinot that opens up slowly. Savoury and masculine midpalet with a layered attack of red cherry and earthiness. Easy tannin and a elegant finish — 10 years ago
A little more melow aromatic-wise than one may forecast but this wine is looking super, super youthful. There is a slight spice and toast to the new peering through. Bright aromas of peach, candied grapefruit, cashew and watermelon chupa chup are the most present initially. Texturally quite creamy, crisp acid and quite decent length too. — 10 years ago

Drank 18.03.26 w/ Andie Ngan - 2016 vintage (MV6) Kelvedon Estate (5300 hectare property on Tas East Coast, established by Francis Cotton in 1830, temperate maritime climate close to sea) - bought for $50 on 04.04.21 from The Farm Shed, Bicheno Tasmania, recommend cellar 5-10 years. Extremely tasty very smooth and well rounded balanced bodied Pinot Noir where every mouthful was a delight to drink. Goes down very smooth and easy. Cherry front and currants at end with a touch of minerals. Def a higher end range a step above the usual table wine — 3 months ago
