Really great nose with loads of dark fruits. The palate is also loaded with dark fruit but is rich and silky on the tongue with polished tannins on the finish. The wine is quite balanced and elegant. This wine is full bodied and fruit forward. Generous amounts of ripe and juicy black plum, red and black currant, cassis and mountain strawberry. — 7 years ago

Fontinos 2009. Big napa cab. Really quite good, not too obnoxious. Very fruity. Could have used another year or two on the shelf but overall really enjoyed. Great steak wine. — 10 years ago
