Delicious! I’m not usually a huge fan of the fatter, lower-acid 2018s from Tuscany but this is really well done. Classic nose features macerated dark cherry, a lightly-balsamic note, crushed minerally gravel, and dark florals. In the mouth it’s beautiful, with deep fruit and savory notes in equipoise, decent acids, and soft tannic structure. Will improve over the next 3 years or so, but delicious now. — 8 months ago
Clarity, smell, and taste are all fantastic. Not my favorite of Cinciano but I would definitely buy again. I like more complex flavors in my wine, so this is a bit simpler. — 9 years ago
Dry. Full body. Not as sweet. — 11 years ago

This is really good. Pairing it with Polpettone alla Toscana. Color is surprisingly youthful for a 10-year old. Very complex nose has rich dark cherry, loads of iodine-rich dark minerality, a little clove, old leather, “rich mahogany” a la Ron Burgundy. In other words, primary, secondary, and tertiary all in play. Tight, almost austere in the mouth, still tannic. Evolving quite slowly. Wonderful concentration and length. It needs the rich food. — 21 hours ago
