Tempranillo blend with Grenache and Graciano. Plenty of tannins that needed more than an hour to open up and let you taste the fruit it was hiding. Dark, vibrant fruits were exposed that gave the wine body and complexity. A potent, vibrant 10 year old wine that could be stored another 10 years and gain in complexity. Interestingly it had a metal coin on top of the cork that we didn’t realize it was there... so pushing in the automatic cork screw actually pushed the cork into the bottle 🤨.
