Mineral nose with pencil lead and a bit of nail polish too (even if that's not really mineral). A bright cherry lingers underneath. The palate is full pinot noir expression with lots of acids, a bright fruit, some tannins in the rear, a good granular texture with some kind of veil, and this fresh cherry all along and continuing very long in the finish. Some bitterness to on the rear. Very nice yet simple expression of pinot noir — 7 days ago
Took a long time to open but very elegant, fruit driven once open — 7 days ago
Mineral notes chalky. Paired with several seafood dishes. Low acidity. Delicious — 7 days ago
Creamy MLF, red apples, apricots and smoke- intense nose. Palate is an absolute dream, more of the citrus notes and then oak takes a back seat. Early to be drinking it really, but still utterly exceptional. Understated, complex, good length and concentration. — 18 days ago
Medium gold. Heavy in the glass. Citrus nose with some leesy notes. White clay and stones. Pineapple and a little ginger. Really big in the mouth. Fruit backed by lots of acidity and structure. Medium intensity in the finish. I think bottles like this are ready for consumption but can easily last for many more years. — 18 days ago
Monthly WTF wine night with a theme of “something to impress”. As always, wines were tasted blind.
Love this producer’s petite sirahs. Didn’t know they made this wine. Viscous. Baked mixed berry pie, cherry liqueur, nutmeg, milk chocolate covered black cherries and a mix of red and black licorice. — 15 days ago
