All of the pretty, high treble chardonnay strikes without the corresponding, heavy bass chard thump. Clean but not crispy with plenty of undercurrents, that will eventually emerge, swirling around. Laurence and Philippe Greiner are the nicest couple making wines organically in Riquewihr. Here their everyday Riesling has layered aromas of ever so slight petrol, lime zest, wet stone, and fragrant citrus blossoms. The lime follows presenting a lively, medium-high acidity palate that is dry and slowly fades. Linear attack, round on the finish, high quality, great value. — 7 years ago
