Very heavy rosé- both in mouthfeel and overall power. This tastes pretty much like a Pinot noir- lots of red cherries, cough drops, little bit of oak. This rosé misses the minerality and white notes you'd expect from a Provençal wine- instead it's more earthy, fruity, which matches with Bourgogne origin. Great on the beach with a sunny Seattle afternoon. — 8 years ago
